Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies we use and how you can manage them.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency and provide information to site owners. “Similar technologies” include local storage and session storage, which serve comparable purposes within your browser.

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies our website uses, what they do and how you can control them.

2. How We Use Cookies

We categorise our cookies and similar technologies into three groups: strictly necessary, functional and analytics/tracking. The tables below list every item we set, its purpose and how long it lasts.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are essential for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences or signing in.

4. Functional Cookies and Storage

These enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we use. If you disable them, some features may not work as expected.

5. Analytics and Tracking

We use one analytics service to help us understand how businesses interact with our website. This service operates under our legitimate interest in B2B marketing.

ServiceProviderPurposeData Collected
Lead ForensicsTrackalytics LtdIdentifies businesses that visit our website so we can follow up with relevant commercial enquiries. This is a B2B identification service, not individual consumer tracking.Screen size, page URL, page title, referring website, browser type, user agent and a randomly generated visitor identifier.

Lead Forensics uses a JavaScript tag and a tracking pixel that load on every page. The data is sent to Lead Forensics' servers for processing. You can learn more about how Lead Forensics handles data on their website.

6. Third-Party Cookies

When you interact with certain features on our site, third-party services may set their own cookies:

  • Stripe — when you visit our payment page, Stripe may set cookies to support fraud detection and secure payment processing. These are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy.
  • Clerk — our staff authentication system may set cookies for session management. These only apply to authenticated admin users, not general visitors.

We do not use any social media tracking pixels, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or similar consumer advertising trackers.

7. What We Don't Use

For transparency, the following common tracking technologies are not present on our website:

  • Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
  • Facebook/Meta Pixel
  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking
  • External font requests (our fonts are self-hosted — no data is sent to Google Fonts servers)

8. Managing Your Preferences

When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner gives you the choice to accept all cookies or allow only essential cookies. Your choice is saved so the banner does not appear again.

Browser settings

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
  • Block cookies from particular sites
  • Block all third-party cookies
  • Clear all cookies when you close the browser

Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies

Opting out of Lead Forensics

If you wish to opt out of Lead Forensics tracking, you can use a JavaScript blocker extension (such as uBlock Origin or NoScript) to prevent the Lead Forensics script from loading, or contact us to discuss your concerns.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time. When we add new cookies or change how existing ones are used, we will update the tables above and revise the “last updated” date below.
